Mittens Thermal Mittens are made from the same fabrics used to make our range of flying suits. They are warm and comfortable and available in Red, Black, Navy and Royal Blue. Mittens keep your hands warmer than gloves and are easier to put on and off in flight. One size fits all.
Fleece Balaclava Made from pill resistant polar fleece with 4oz pu nylon chest protector. The fleece balaclava keeps your head, neck, ears and chest warm in the coldest of conditions yet is thin enough to fit comfortable under a helmet/headset. The chest protector tucks inside any of our flying suits. Available in Black only, one size fits all.
Neck Warmer Polycotton neck warmer with elasticized knitted rib. If you do not like
a full balaclava or if flying with one of our new integral helmets (with
visor and neoprene air dam) then the neck warmer is all you will need
to keep out the cold. Available in navy blue or burgundy, one size fits
all.
Bar Mitts The Air Hog neoprene bar mitts are designed to fit over the insulated grip on the control bar of most hang gliders and microlights (fits all Airborne microlights). The mitts live on the control bar and for a warm fuzzy feeling your hands, gloved or ungloved fit easily inside. If in warmer weather the mitts are not needed they simply push to the side.
The Stormshield heated gloves are designed to work in conjunction with the StormRider heated vest. They come with a cable that links them to the vest allowing both gloves and vest to run from the same power supply.
The HeatMitts are supplied with two miniature power packs that live in a pocket in the mitts. A full charge supplies warmth and comfort for 4 to 6 hours. 2-way battery charger included.
The HeatSoles can be cut to length therefore able to fit most boots. They are supplied with 2 clip on battery packs and a 2-way charger. Fully charged they supply 5 to 7 hours of warmth.
